A Considered Approach to Tax Matters

We work methodically, keeping you informed at each stage — no ambiguity, no unnecessary complexity.

Grounded in Malaysian Law

Our practice is built around the Income Tax Act 1967, the Promotion of Investments Act 1986, and LHDN administrative guidelines — the frameworks that govern your obligations.

Structured Engagements

Each matter begins with a thorough review of your circumstances before any advisory is provided. We do not issue recommendations without first understanding the full picture.

Clear Communication

Tax law contains layers of technical detail. We translate that complexity into language you can act on, with written summaries provided for each key recommendation.

Confidential by Practice

All client information and financial details are handled with strict confidentiality. Documents shared with us are managed securely and disclosed only where legally required.

Deadline Awareness

We monitor filing deadlines, installment schedules, and response windows on your behalf — reducing the administrative load while keeping your compliance posture intact.

Long-Term Advisory Relationship

Tax positions taken this year affect the next. Our approach looks at your situation across filing cycles, not just the immediate return, so decisions reflect broader continuity.

Would You Like to Discuss Your Tax Position?

We welcome enquiries from individuals and businesses at any stage — whether you are approaching a filing deadline, considering a structural change, or seeking clarity on a notice received from LHDN.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to use your tax filing service?
Our filing service is suitable for Malaysian tax residents — including salaried employees, self-employed individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships, and private limited companies (Sdn Bhd). We also assist foreign nationals with Malaysian-sourced income who have tax obligations under the Income Tax Act 1967.
What documents do I need to provide for tax filing?
For individuals, we typically require your EA form or income statements, details of any business income, rental income, or investment returns, and documentation supporting any relief claims (such as education or medical receipts). For companies, we require audited financial statements, the previous year's tax computation, and details of capital allowances. We provide a detailed document checklist upon engagement.
How does the tax planning advisory process work?
We begin with an initial consultation to understand your business structure, planned activities, and financial objectives. From there, we review applicable incentives and tax provisions, assess your eligibility, and prepare a written advisory report outlining the options available to you — including the requirements, timelines, and steps involved in each. We do not advise on arrangements that fall outside the scope of Malaysian tax law.
What happens if I have received an audit notice from LHDN?
Receiving a notice of additional assessment or an audit query letter is not uncommon, and does not automatically mean an error has been made. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible after receiving such a notice so we can review the assessment, clarify the basis for LHDN's position, and determine an appropriate response. Acting early generally preserves more options for resolution.
What are your fees and how are they structured?
Our fee schedule starts from RM 650 for personal and corporate tax filing, RM 1,900 for tax planning and incentive advisory, and RM 3,100 for audit defense engagements. Fees for more complex matters are assessed individually and communicated to you in writing before any work begins. There are no unexpected charges; all costs are agreed upon upfront.
How quickly can you respond to an enquiry?
We aim to respond to all enquiries submitted through our contact form or by telephone within one working day. For time-sensitive matters — such as approaching filing deadlines or recently received notices — please note this in your message and we will prioritise accordingly.
